The campaign is great. It's short, but I definitely enjoyed it. To get and use the Union Guard blueprint in Modern Warfare 2 you need to beat the campaign entirely. Yes, you do have to hop into the campaign to get it, but given the length of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign isnā€™t too long, it isnā€™t much of a slog to unlock.
