Try the distinguished service mod + true limits. Once you level up a troop to max tier it has a chance to turn into a companion. True limits changes things like max party size and companion limit to a more reasonable level IMO.
Charisma, Leadership and Renown all increase your party size. A 59 man army is extremely small. Charisma is important. Use some of your Charisma to increase Skill Points in "Leadership" . Each point increases party size by 5, increases party morale and lowers party wages.
Medicine, the final perk is simply the best of all. +65 HP for all your soldiers when maxed out at 330. One handed, Two handed, Polearm, Athletics. all has +HP perks for toops or infantry. And + party size as well. My build is 10 intelligence, 5 vigor, 5 control, 6 endurance. And some focus points on scouting, leadership aswell.
The third choice in the Athletics tree is an easy one. Imposing Stature gives you a decent bonus to your persuasion chance, but more importantly, it increases your party size by five. Both these bonuses make this the better pick for almost all situations. RELATED: Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord - Best One-Handed Perks
As Lyx said, you don't have to start a new game. It takes effect immediately. Taimat, Modifying morale per troop requires an extra line. I went ahead and added a divide to the equation, so if you want to modify the number of troops per morale lost you will need this script: get_player_party_morale_values -1.
My renown hasn't decreased, I have plenty of money, plenty of food, high morale (only penalty is being over my maximum party size). My maximum went from 123 to 96, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. EDIT: Also worth noting I was independent, and hadn't been a part of a faction. my only guess would be a policy was revoke giving you a
Yeah mate, I’ve been running 750 battle size on AWOIAF and I want even more! Open the rgl_config.txt and change the battle size setting. The set number x120+30 gives you the battlesize. So 0 =30, 1=150, 2=270, 3=390. If you try to change it in game it will go back to max 150 and you will have to go back into the rgl_config file again.
Remember to adjust size of the item you forging. For Javelins usually the bigger the better. For swords it can be tricky, but in most cases max out blade and handle size and than adjust for better stats the rest. You can craft with penalty till you have enough skill. It impacts your income a little bit, but keeps your progress fast.
Im curious what the largest party size anyone has ever attained is (mostly for console) right now i’m somewhere around 350 troops. Around 500, and gradually increases toward end of game if you hoard fiefs, to something around 600. Although it's a huge waste of fiefs to hoard them, since having clans over gives you more soldiers.
All of these stack. In my current play through I have a party size of 362 at clan tier 5 with 270+ steward, Noble Retinues and Royal Guard (as the ruler). Afaik none of the skill traits that increase party size currently works*, only the passive buff of the steward skill increases the limit atm. *Edit: Ultimate Leader II at leadership 275
Leadership: 50@Max Charisma: +1/point Renown: +1/25 points. Base is 30 I think, so depending on how you play, late game parties will max out around 150+, although you can have unlimited renown, so it can be as high as you like. Most mods drastically change party size, with the most common alteration being 10 troops/point of leadership, and 2
It seems like the max party size is 150 for native, is there anyway to pass this size? It happened during my first try. If you wanted to see 600+, as the commander, conquer over half of the map for your kindom. For the first 2 towns/castles if you requested them, the king will usually give them to you.
Increases size based on Leadership and extra bonus from Stewardship, which you can config. If you was freaking giant 800 man armies, you can do that. If you want a small boost, that is doable too. The most simple way would be to export your character, go to \Users\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\Characters, find your character, increase charisma (1 charisma = +1 party size) to the point you like and import it ingame again. But as Tuidjy said, you will not like the game with so many troops. The game is balanced around less than 200 soldiers
