Re: Settings for Logitech Driving Force GT. If you haven't already, download the Logitech Gaming Software for the wheel from logitech.com. Some of the settings are only changed from there. If the wheel is hard to turn you may have the rotation set to less than 900 degrees. The wheel uses the force-feedback motors to stop the wheel at the set limit.
Hi, I know, very old thread, but just for the sake of other people looking/struggling with this annoying slow moving cursor in the UI (especially with triple screen) Thanks to the comment of @Cadde I found the solution! In Steam you add the launch parameter "-sysmouse" and it will use your windows mouse settings. Up until 1.36 or so, they would have really bad shimmering and aliasing no matter what game settings you used, even with Nvidia driver AA settings, unless you went to 400%. As the game AA improved even marginally, there's been less and less need to use 400% scaling.
I doubt there is anything you gain with that. You will just stress your GPU a ton (400% scaling means that every frame is calculated at 4 times the resolution and then scaled down). #1. The "exhaust" slider also doesn't do much. It's meant to affect how loud your engine brake (jake brake) sound is, but most jake sounds on these trucks are extremely muffled and barely audible. The game engine is old with recent update it made it a lot better and if you are struggling to maintain a playable frames on 400% scaling @1080p try 125% or 150% and set anti aliasing to max this should at least make the image quality less blurry while maintaining the sharpness. As for sharpness you can adjust it as well on the gpu software if
Set the both sensitivity and non-linearity sliders all the way left to start with, then adjust the non-linearity slider from full-left toward the right about 25%. Give that a try then come back and move the slider further right to decrease the centre-travel sensitivity more, or further left to increase the sensitivity.
